 Historically, chlorine dosing systems have
presented a range of challenges to the end user due to the
associated hazards or complicated logistical requirements such as
batch mixing or the ongoing requirement for skilled labor. Systems
that are based on Ozone, chlorine generation by Electrolysis or the
on site generation of Chlorine Dioxide are complicated, require
close supervision, and generally have a high capital cost. Bromine
based compounds are relatively easy to dose, but are less effective
than chlorine at pH 7-8. Bromine is more limited in its range of
application than chlorine, and is not recommended for human
consumption.

 Hypochlor®
is a safe, concentrated source of chlorine that is approved for all
forms of water sanitation. This versatile
compound has a wider scope of potential application than any other
sanitizer, whether organic or inorganic, including other chlorine
based compounds, but has not been as widely utilized thus far. This
historical trend can be directly attributed to the difficulties
encountered in dispensing the compound efficiently due to its
